Location: Lima
Today, we said goodbye to a wonderful group. At 2:30 am, 11 of the 12 total grabbed their bags and made their way to the airport and I stayed back to take Christian to a later flight for his next adventure. Everyone started to finally realize that the end of an amazing summer together was near and eventually they had to say goodbye. After some tears and heartfelt goodbyes, everyone took off to Miami and Christian was on his way to Costa Rica for another Go Beyond experience. Now Meca, Mariana, and I are resting, recuperating, and preparing for our next group of Go Beyonders. Though we’re sad to see you all go, we’re happy that you’ll have some pretty great stories to tell. Next group, Vamos!
