Location: Norbulingka
After a 45-minute car ride, we arrived in Norbulingka, a hub of Tibetan culture. This complex was built to preserve Tibetan art and culture (painting, wood carving, etc.). After having visited the beautiful gardens, we went to a Buddhist temple where we were blessed by the Karmapa (3rd most important person after His Holiness the Dalai Lama and the Panchen Lama). After this spiritual elevation, we headed back to the hotel where we had a few hours of reflection time in our bedrooms helped by the smell of burning incense. We ended the day by having dinner in an Italian restaurant (back to our usual routine).
