Location: Great Harbor, Peter Island
Today we woke up at 6:20 and got ready quickly so that we could stop by a cafe for breakfast before heading to Aragorn’s farm. At the coffee shop, we had iced coffee, chai, chocolate frappes, breakfast bagels, and assorted pastries. We took an open-air taxi to the farm, which is up a beautiful hill on Tortola. Farming is made possible on the steep island due to the terraces carved into the hillside. On the farm, we sorted garlic, sifted ash from the soil for compost, harvested beans and peas, plucked weeds, and met Ugly (a very cute cat). We ate peanut butter and jelly sandwiches at Aragorn’s farm for lunch. When we got back to the boat, Em and Dara surprised us with a freshwater shower at the spa on the Moorings dock. After our showers, we sailed to Great Harbor Peter on Peter Island for dinner (Mexican night!). We ended the night with Squeeze and an evening program on goal-setting.
