Location: Spanish Town, Virgin Gorda
After breakfast the preserving paradise team headed to the copper mines national park, there was not much trash there, so we climbed rocks and found shells. Then we went to another beach where loads of trash had washed up including a jet ski which we didn’t pick up. Leaving the beach everyone felt good about how much trash we picked up and doing something good for the environment. The rebuilding island life kids went to a school in the valley that was destroyed by the hurricane and built a swing set. We regrouped when we docked in Spanish town and were given an hour and a half to get lunch and have our phones before going back to the beach to teach a group of 60 kids how to swim.
