Hello, world!
After over a dozen different flights and a few bus rides, the entire group is here ready to experience the Pura Vida! A sparkling pool, a mountainous perch, and a scrumptious dinner we were waiting for us when we got picked up from the airport. We also had the program orientation and got to meet Gail, the superstar director of the Costa Rican Humanitarian Foundation we’ll be working closely with. Did we mention the food here is delicious? Though the travel exhaustion is all over everyone’s faces, the excitement for this trip is palpable. Now it’s time to rest before our first work day tomorrow!
