While we understand families are eager for news, we ask for patience as our staff’s energy is focused on the students and the program at hand. July 17th: Fly Day July 18th: Lifeworks orientation; Great Wall visit July 19th to 22nd: Beijing service days; Afternoon/evening activities include Chinese painting and Beijing Art District tour July 23rd: Beijing service day; Overnight train to Xian July 24th to 25th: Xian sightseeing including Terracotta Warriors; Return to Beijing July 26th to 29th: Beijing service days; Afternoon/evening activities include martial arts demonstration, Summer Palace tour, calligraphy classes, and karaoke! July 30th: Travel to Taiyuan; Orphanage visit July 31st: Visit Buddhist Caves and Hanging Monastery August 1st: Dong Er Gou visit; Return to Beijing August 2nd to 5th: Beijing service days; Afternoon/evening activities include a tea ceremony and the Forbidden City/Tiananmen Square August 6th: Lifeworks closing activities; Student fly day
