Location: Necker Island
Today we woke up somewhat early and began our trek to the infamous Necker Island, famously owned by Richard Branson, (owner of virgin mobile and virgin airlines) We were given a tour of the exotic wildlife which included flamingos, giant tortoises, endangered iguanas and numerous species of lemurs. We were showed around the island by Vaman, the wildlife manager of the 74 acre island. We were fortunate enough to sit in the same place as Nelson Mandella, Desmond TuTu and Jimmy Carter. We swam in the same pool that both Richard Branson and Bill Gates swam in. After departing Necker Island we had dinner and attended a forum that included all of Lifeworks and Actionquest. It was a surprise filled day that will surely never be forgotten in lifeworks history.
