Location: Mountain Point, Virgin Gorda
Today we had another early morning, and we first went to a school called cibony, and we cleaned up the garden quite a bit. We cleaned up the gardens, built planters, and made chalkboards. Then we went to the second school and finished up the work from yesterday and met lots of the local students and got to talk with them and also got some sort of cherry ice cream in cups with the students.
All of us took long ocean showers tonight in order to completely clean up and cool down from our long day working, with some of us having to spend even extra time in the water. We had a very beautiful sunset and had veggie burgers for dinner. We’re spending the night at mountain point, and tomorrow morning we will be doing lots of snorkeling and turtle tagging.
