Location: Anegada
We had an early start with a quick bowl of oatmeal then it was off to Anegada! After taxi rides and unloading, we went off in groups of four on a small Boston whaler in search for Turtles. We spent several adventurous hours tackling turtles to bring back to the team to tag for turtle research. In all, we tagged 6 turtles. The team learned how to measure the turtle, search for prior tracking devices, tag the turtle and properly release the turtles back in their habitat. We each found this day adventurous in our own way. We look forward to another day in the breath taking island of Anegada.
