Below is our anticipated schedule of activities. On days marked with a *, the group will have limited access to phone and internet. While we understand families are eager for news, we ask for patience as our staff’s energy is focused on the students and the program at hand. Day 1 (July 17th) – Fly day; Student orientation Day 2 (July 18th) – Morning group building activities; Afternoon tour of Quito historical district Day 3 to 9 (July 19th to 25th) – Community service projects with the Galapagos National Park Service; Galapagos day tours including Los Palmas, Nameless, and Bartolome Islands Day 10 (July 26th) – Transfer to Quito; Students rest/downtime * Day 11 to 16 (July 27th to August 1st) – Amazon excursion including sightseeing, nature study, and community service work Day 17 to 19 (August 2nd to 4th) – Andes Mountains excursion including hiking, horseback riding, ziplining, traditional market visit, and community service work Day 20 (August 5th) – Transfer to Quito; Closing program activities Day 21 (August 6th) – Fly day
