Location: Bangkok
Today we woke up, and all met downstairs for breakfast, and everyone got to meet each other. We talked about expectations and blogging, then went to exchange our money. We went to the mall and had lunch. I had mango and sticky rice, which had warm mango and coconut milk over the sticky sweet rice. Our table shared it, and it was great. After lunch, we went to the market down the street. We got in groups and explored. There were many little booths of jewelry, food, clothes, and bags everywhere. We shopped for a couple of hours then came back to the hotel and went for a swim. We are about to go to dinner. Altogether Bangkok is pretty different, but it’s more civilized and first world than I expected. The buildings and the infrastructure of the city are more built up and expensive than I thought it would be. Everything is going great!
