Location: Urubamba to Ollantaytambo

Author: Ariella Location: Urubamba to Ollantaytambo Today was an exciting but very tiring day. We left the hostel early this morning to go paddle boarding at a lagoon. Even though it felt like -10 degrees and the sky was full of clouds, mostly everyone in the group went paddle boarding and had an amazing time!

Next, we went to a textile store at Chinchero, and the women there showed us how they create their threads and also how they dye them. I bought a soft and warm alpaca sweater. 🙂 Lastly, we went to Moray, an important Incan site. Even when it started raining, the view was still beautiful, and we all made the best of it. We finally arrived at our new hostel, Tika Wasi Valley, and so far it seems nice. I even got to take my first hot shower of the trip, and the beds are super fluffy and big! I’m excited to get back to work tomorrow and start building a greenhouse and play with more kids.

P.S. I miss and love you mom, dad, and Ethan:)
