Location: Savanna Bay, Virgin Gorda
We woke up and immediately took off to the bay of Spanish Town where our first job was located. We went to Valley Day school on the Virgin Gorda island and painted the inside of the school a bright yellow and a baby blue. Also, we took down the fence; a different group is putting up a fence for the school tomorrow. After we finished helping the school we were treated to a local ice cream shop which was delicious. After concluding our entire mission at the school, we went directly to the shores of the Baths which are very large rock structures that are well known for their slave trade history. Here we explored the amazing caves and cliff jumped. Also, unfortunately, one of our shipmates Zoe got stabbed by a sea urchin and had the needles extracted, she is okay now. All in all, it was a very productive humanitarian day.
