Location: Whitsunday Islands
Day 6 started on the right foot when we had to get up at 6 AM and leave at 7 AM to catch our first flight to Brisbane. Some of us ate breakfast at the hostel and others bought some at the airport. After one hour and fifteen minutes, we arrived in Brisbane but still had one more plane ride to take. At the airport, we had time to go buy some lunch and shop a little bit. Then it was time for a second flight, which took an hour and a half. We finally arrived at our destination, which was Proserpine. From the airport, we boarded a bus which gave us awesome opportunities to see amazing landscapes and even some wallabies! We then got dropped off at the Abell Point Marina where our boat, Eureka ll, was waiting for us. Mal, the captain of the boat, greeted us and introduced us to our accommodations. We also met Sarah, the deckhand, who would stay with us for three days on the boat. We finished this tiring travel day with some delicious pizza aboard Eureka II.
