Location: Manuel Antonio
Today was filled with action, adventure, and surprises. We woke up with our bags packed to the smell of coffee and eggs. We sadly had to say our goodbyes to our lord and savior, Kenny, a worker at the first hotel we stayed at. Since the world cup was on, we went to a mall in Costa Rica to watch it. The game was France against Croatia, and sadly Croatia lost with a score of 4-2 🙁 The mall gave us free hot dogs, juice boxes, and soccer balls. Kiki, Justin, Oliver, and me (Shanti) all played foosball in the mall. Kiki and Justin won the match by two resulting in them getting a free soccer ball and some sort of crackers from the mall. After that, we headed back on the bus for a while till our next stop, the crocodile bridge in Tarcoles. Once we got there, we ate a lovely lunch and were able to purchase some souvenirs at the gift shops. We saw some crocodiles and watched them for a while; they were pretty huge. We got back on the bus and headed to our new hotel on the beach in Manuel Antonio. We are excited for a fun day of rafting tomorrow!
