While Greg didn’t grow up sailing or near the water, but he developed a love for the ocean at an early age, sailing at age 13 (on an Outward Bound, which was really more rowing than sailing) and obtaining his first PADI certification at age 12. Greg linked up with Global Expeditions Group in 2002 as a student aboard a Sea|mester voyage on Ocean Star. After realizing a love of adventure and sailing, Greg joined the operational staff the following year, serving as a Skipper, Dive Master and EMT aboard boats in the British Virgin Islands. Greg has continued to work for the company ever since using his technical expertise to developing a variety of software products that the company uses internally and now leads a small team of developers to achieve the same. Greg and his family currently live in the United Kingdom.
