This morning we woke up on the train and got ready for our last full day together. We started our day visiting Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City. It was very hot and crowded, but it was interesting to see the architecture and remember what we learned from the movie yesterday. We then got in the van and headed to the Pearl Market. We all used our bargaining skills to buy a lot of really cool things, including a lot of “designer” items. After heading to the hotel to shower and get ready, we met in the lobby dressed up for dinner. Some of us wore nice outfits we brought from home, while others wore their new designer Peppa Pig shirts. We ate dinner at the same restaurant we ate at on our first full day. Now we are all back in the hotel packing and getting ready to say our first goodbye to Arielle who leaves tonight at ten. We all can’t believe how fast the time has flown by and we are looking forward to all the laughs we will share during our last night together.
