Location: Dharamsala

We started the day with a delicious breakfast at Common Ground, and afterwards, a few people decided to attend a church service while the rest of us took the opportunity to do laundry and go shopping for some awesome gifts for friends and family. Lunch brought us back to Common Ground for some tasty momos and fried rice. We then took taxis to a dance studio for our afternoon service project. We spent the next few hours scraping paint off the walls with sandpaper and any tools we could get our hands on (there was also a lengthy dance break in the middle.) After work, we had a great Italian dinner (our first western meal in India!) and took a swing class and danced the night away. Upon returning to the monastery, we found Ian and Oliver’s room had been burglarized by monkeys in search of food, putting a comical end to a great night.
