Location: West End, Tortola
Today was our real final day of the trip. We woke up bright and early to stay on track for our busy day. We took a quick ride over to Norman Island, a privately owned and remarkably preserved island near Tortola. We technically trespassed but the island was uninhabited, so it did not negatively affect anyone. We partook in a difficult hike to the highest point on the mountain. From the spot visibility was extraordinary, and the view has never been paralleled by anything I’ve seen. We reflected on the trip and heard the history of the island from our master and honcho Elliot Evans. It was a perfect ending to an incredible trip. We then proceeded to our final stop where we packed up and cleaned the boat. We are now prepping for the barbecue with the other boats as a final hoorah for the trip.
