Location: Húsavík

We started the day with an early wake up at 7:15 in an effort to leave at 8. We first visited a canyon called Asbyrgi, fabled to be a product of a step from Odin’s horse. Next, we continued our volunteering from yesterday, as we went back to our location from yesterday. Instead of planting trees, we spread grass seeds and fertilized several fields. After completing that we enjoyed some lunch and continued with breaking apart and spreading hay bales. After a long day of hard work, we headed to the local pool for some relaxation. We continued our relaxation back at the house with cards and frolicking in the fields until we realized that our power went out, which majorly delayed our dinner. We even had to travel to our host family’s house, where we prepared our tacos. Finally, we finished our night with some s’mores.
