And there you have it, folks. Session 2 of Preserving Paradise for 2024 is done and dusted. We made a lot of memories, completed a lot of tasks, and helped out so many different people, and it will be extremely hard for everyone to truly understand what this trip meant to everyone onboard. For the families at home, do not worry if your student decides to wash dishes in salt water, or want to take showers in the ocean, or set up a hammock in the backyard. Don’t be surprised by the amount of callouses everyone may have, as they tell the story of how much they truly worked and what they accomplished. From the entire team on Hagan Time, thank you again to the students for all the work you put in, and thank you to the families, friends, and others who stuck with the blog up until this point. While this journey has come to an end, we hope that many more opportunities will come about due to their efforts onboard with us. As one door closes, many more will open up. Don’t consider this as goodbye, but so long until we meet again.
