We’ve kicked off Session Two with a fantastic bunch of new students! Everyone’s arrival went smoothly, and we couldn’t have asked for a better first day. After collecting everyone from the airport, we settled into our new digs and had a small rest before heading to dinner. Dinner tonight was a delectable smörgåsbord of local Chinese dishes, including Peking Duck, beef with vegetables, saucy eggplant, and some mysterious, delicious pumpkin fries; I ate so many pumpkin fries that I could barely walk out of the restaurant afterward.
As for now, we’re off to get some much-needed sleep in preparation for our big day tomorrow. No spoilers on our travel plans, but tomorrow will undoubtedly be GREAT.
