Below is our anticipated schedule of activities. The group will have limited access to internet over the course of the program. While we understand families are eager for news, we ask for patience as our staff’s energy is focused on the students and the program at hand. Please do not call our office regarding these trip logs, as the office does not control the postings or the content of the updates. We appreciate your understanding!

Day 1 – June 16th – Fly day & Check-in; Orientation with staff and new shipmates.

Day 2 – June 17th – Sails up! Depart West End, Tortola for Norman Island; Snorkeling at famed caves of Blackbeard; Introduction to GoBeyond.

Day 3 – June 18th – Morning hike on Spyglass Mountain; Afternoon sail to Savannah Bay; Evening introduction to service work.

Day 4 – June 19th – Hike at Copper Mine National Park with service work; afternoon visit to the famed Baths of the British Virgin Islands.

Day 5 – June 20th – First day of service with Valley Day Primary School on Virgin Gorda.

Day 6 – June 21st – Morning service in Mountain Point; Afternoon introduction to sea turtle tagging methodology.

Day 7 – June 22nd – Service day with Robinson O’Neal Primary School; Beach cookout and dance with DJ Heavy Beats!

Day 8 – June 23rd – Sail to one of the Caribbean’s most remote islands, Anegada! Afternoon scavenger hunt.

Day 9 – June 24th – Service day in Anegada – sea turtle tagging and work the Headstart Anegada Rock Iguana facility.

Day 10 – June 25th – Service day in Anegada – sea turtle tagging and work the the Headstart Anegada Rock Iguana facility.

Day 11 – June 26th – Morning service in Anegada; Sailing to Marina Cay; Evening forum with ActionQuest fleet.

Day 12 – June 27th – Watersports day! Water Skiing, Wakeboarding, small boat sailing, oh my! Evening scenario with Virgin Islands Search and Rescue (VISAR).

Day 13 – June 28th – Service day with the Youth Empowerment Project (YEP); Evening time in Sommer’s Bay.

Day 14 – June 29th – Service day with Jost Van Dyke Preservation Society; evening in Cane Garden Bay.

Day 15 – June 30th – Service day with Jost Van Dyke Preservation Society; dinner and shopping at Sydney’s Peace & Love.

Day 16 – July 1st, Territory Day for the BVIs – Service day in Road Town, Tortola; Visit Sandy Spit for some fun in the sun!

Day 17 – July 2nd – Morning service work to restore critical marine habitats; Afternoon sailing race against the ActionQuest fleet (GoBeyond has a long history of beating ActionQuest in this race).

Day 18 – July 3rd – Service day with the Virgin Islands Search and Rescue (VISAR) outfit.

Day 19 – Happy 4th of July, America! – Morning service on Peter Island; afternoon activities around Peter Island.

Day 20 – July 5th – Morning hike on Spyglass Mountain; Cleanup; Final BBQ with the ActionQuest fleet.

Day 21 – July 6th – Fly day! Fair winds and following seas, weary travelers!
