Location: Great Harbor, Peter Island

This morning we woke up around 6 AM. It was nice for us to sleep in finally. Haha kidding! Anyways, we quickly ate breakfast which included a wide range of cereal. After breakfast, we made our way to the park where we have previously worked to help repair it after it was sadly destroyed by hurricane Irma. Along with the other GoBeyond program, Rebuilding Island Life,  we spent the day pulling out grass, cutting down trees, sweeping up water and fixing up a basketball court. There were so many cockroaches, but thankfully Julie was there to protect me even though she had a deadly aversion to them. Mid workday it started to pour, and of course, we had to have a dance party. Working in the park was extremely tiring but super fun and rewarding. Once everyone came back to the boat, we ate lunch. After lunch, a few of us, myself included took a nice, much-needed nap. We soon set sail and headed towards Peter Island where we are now anchored for the night. We all jumped in the ocean for a shower. Josie, Hannah and I stayed in the ocean till it got dark, telling stories and practicing alligator drills. Tonight was Mexican for dinner which was super good thanks to our chefs, Julie and Neil. After dinner, we played some cards, and I wrote this blog. I”m gonna stop writing now as I would like to get ready for bed. Today was super fun, and I’m looking forward to seeing what is in store for tomorrow. Goodnight all!
