Welcome to the Peru blog page! Below is a little bit about the staff that will be leading this summer. Enjoy!
Travis Baldwin has loved being outside since the day he could walk. Early on, he pursued his outdoor career by completing an Outdoor Adventure and Business diploma in 2004. Shortly after, he moved out to British Columbia and began guiding trips with mountain biking, horseback riding, fly fishing, dog sledding, canoeing, kayaking, and hiking. He loves to travel and has spent time in Mexico, Belize, El Salvador and Cuba. Recently Travis has focused on the medical side of his career, working as a Heli rescue medic and firefighter in Ontario.
Rowan Oloman joined Lifeworks in 2006. Rowan is a certified sea kayak guide and Wilderness First Responder and holds a Masters degree in Natural Resource Management. Rowan’s love for travel and adventure have taken her to such far away places as the Himalayas of Nepal, the Mekong River of Laos, the mountains of South America’s Patagonia, the cloud forest of Costa Rica, the nightlife of Cuba and the magical underworld of the Barrier Reef. Rowan always looks forward to sharing her love of adventure and learning with new program participants.
