Location: The Andes - Quito
Today was, unfortunately, the last day of our amazing three-week journey through Ecuador. We woke up this morning in the Andes for the last time. We had our usual home cooked breakfast of scrambled eggs with veggies and English muffins. We then went zip lining at the Black Sheep Inn. We then had to leave the amazing views of the Andes to travel for three hours by bus back to Hosteria San Carlos in Quito. When we got back to the hotel in Quito, we all changed into our nicest clothes to go out to dinner. We went to this nice restaurant called Allys for our closing dinner for a delicious meal and chocolate cake for dessert. We had a great dinner reflecting on our past three weeks, and we all shared our highs of the trip. Once we arrived back to the hotel, the staff created a slide show of our entire trip. It was sad, but great to look back at all of the great memories. We will miss everyone so much and are so grateful to have experienced this incredible journey together.
