Location: La Finca
Today was a great day. All the work we have done on the Finca went to use when the kids of La Carpio came to visit. We played a range of activities from scavenger hunts, to basketball, to arts and crafts. We even managed to break the whole water system, but it was an easy fix. There was an obstacle course made from random objects found around the house. The kids were so adorable we didn’t want to say goodbye when they had to leave even though we were all exhausted from our long day. To wind down, we went to our host homes for dinner and then came back together to watch an incredible documentary called “I am.” The movie was so thought-provoking that we concluded the night with a forum and parting words from our friend who had to leave the trip early.
