Location: Kuranda
Today, we got up at around the same time we do usually- 6:30 ish. Then, we ensured all our bags were packed and ready to go on the road. We had some easy breakfast and were on our way to the bus station for the first bus ride of the day. While some made it to the bus station okay in their taxi, others were stuck with a flat tire and had to rush to fix it and make it to the station in time. Luckily, we all made it in time for the bus. While on the bus, we got to call home and catch up with our friends at home. Our first bus ride was about 4-5 hours long, but most of us took a little nap to make it go by quicker. Then, we stopped in a shopping mall and checked out the food court before heading back for yet another bus for a shorter (but still long) ride to our hostel for the next couple of days. We all had fun in the hostel pool. Although cold, we still had a lot of fun, and it was quite refreshing from the heat of the day. We then took showers and went down to dinner of chicken, broccoli, and some pasta. That marked the end of our travel day.
