Location: Road Harbor, Tortola
Today we went to the VISAR facility in Roadtown. We cleaned up the facility and the yard outside to make it easier for emergency responders to access the road and door easier. Some students were able to bring back some previous VISAR helmets, and in the end, we were able to also get some shirts that were given to us by the VISAR team. We were able to help with the restoration of the Search and Rescue boat, the Spirit of Tortola. We needed to water up, so we’ve been docked at Moorings base for the night. We also had Mexican night today, our chefs being Ava and Valentina.
