Location: West End, Tortola
Day 17: Today, we got to sleep in till 8:30 am, which was much needed. For breakfast, I ate oatmeal and star fruit. After we finished breakfast, we got started on clean up and then prepared to leave. Our first activity was trash clean up in West End, which lasted about an hour. Then we got shore time for the rest of the day. Addy, Augusta, Addison, and I all got really good bagels from a place called Omar’s which made up for the bad chai we had gotten earlier. There, Augusta met a white and black cat. After, we went to the shops Addison, Addy, and I got matching necklaces at a store called Arawak. Before we went back to the boat, we all got stocked up on snacks. When we all got back to the boat, we got ready to sail to Peter Island. By the time we got there, it was time to shower. We used the boom swing, which was very fun. For dinner tonight, it was breakfast for dinner which included baked beans, biscuits, eggs, and sausage. After the clean-up, we settled in to watch a documentary called My Octopus Teacher. It was about a man and an octopus; it was very interesting. Bye:) -Grace
