Location: San Cristobal and Floreana, Galapagos
This morning we woke up at 5 O’clock. First, we ate breakfast, then walked to the dock. We got on the boat, where we sat side by side. Life jackets on, we were prepared for the ride. Amidst giant waves up to ten feet tall, We all got very seasick and started to fall. One by one, we were dropping like flies, counting the seconds until we arrived. Four hours later we finally spotted land. We saw sea turtles, sea lions, and a beach with black sand. We had lunch in the highlands and then took a tour. We saw caves, giant tortoises, and so much more. After snorkeling, we headed home once everyone was dry. Cuddling on the boat, the time flew right by. We had to stop on the way because we ran out of gas. A big group singalong helped the time pass. Tired and hungry we all walked ashore, it was an exciting day of adventure, that’s for sure!
