Location: Central Valley Costa Rica
After an early morning breakfast, we all took a bus to our orientation with Gale and an introduction to what we will be experiencing over these next three weeks. We walked the streets of La Carpio and witnessed the less fortunate. We enjoyed lunch at the local daycare founded by Gale and as well got to bond with many children. Later today we visited the Indigenous spiritual leader, and he explained to us the differences between his culture and modern society. His son then showed us the spiritual ways of their people. We ended our adventures for the day with dinner back at our hotel and fun games. After even the first day, we have all become very close, and the excitement builds every moment!
