Location: Ocean and Hotel los Quetzales
Today is our last day at Cabinas Ballena, and we were a bit sad to be leaving. The hotel had a huge swimming pool, and it was fun for all of the girls to stay together. We started our day with a lovely pancake breakfast made by the boys, and then we walked down and had a boat tour to explore the Costa Rican sea life. It was a beautiful hot day, and on the boat, we were fed fruit and water and were fortunate enough to see dolphins. After that, we went snorkeling in the ocean and saw a variety of eels, fish and even a water snake! When our sea adventure ended, we made our way up the mountains to Hotel Los Quetzales, and the view was gorgeous. This view only became more beautiful as the sun set behind the mountains, making the entire sky glow red. Then the cold set in and we bundled up next to the fire inside before falling asleep in our cozy cabins.
