Location: Bangkok

We started the day by going to the Royal Palace, which was amazing. The amount of detail on the temples was overwhelming. We then went to a temple called Wat Po, which has a 46-meter long statue of a reclining Buddha (huge!) as well as several other beautiful buildings. After lunch (and a snack of coconut ice cream for several of us) we went on a boat tour on one of the traditional long tail boats. We went through the canals, which was interesting because it was a different part of Bangkok that we had not seen before. We finished off the evening with a dinner of Korean barbecue at an authentic Korean restaurant, a new experience for most of us, but pretty cool. Overall today we saw a lot of the famous attractions in Bangkok and enjoyed being tourists in the city.
