Location: Kuranda Rainforest
Today was a day I will never forget. We spent the day at the Kuranda Envirocare Nursery, where we helped Cathy, our frog monitoring guide, and her team. We were all assigned different jobs, like flagging trees, organizing plants, cleaning plant name tags, and getting rid of the weeds. The Kuranda Envirocare team is really nice; they gave us tea and food. I felt accomplished with all the work we did today. I never thought that I would really enjoy working with plants; it didn’t feel like working at all.
