Location: Vixen Point, Virgin Gorda

Today started with an exciting trip to Robinson O’Neal elementary school. We played with kids from first grade to sixth grade from about 9:00 to 12:00. The games we played included baseball, basketball, Frisbee, duck duck goose, face painting and many more! It was so much fun being able to interact with all the kids and experience the BVI through their eyes. After we left the school, we came back to the boat to clean up and get ready for shore time! We spent from 1:45-3:15 onshore in Leverick Bay where we ate lunch at Jumbiees and went to the grocery store. After shore time we hurried back to the boat to sail to Vixen Point where the dance would be held that night. Vixen Point was only about 5 minutes away so after arriving and catching a mooring ball we all got to take real freshwater showers! With only being able to take saltwater showers the whole week, it’s safe to say we were all pretty excited for fresh water showers. After showering, we left in a dingy for Vixen Point to eat burgers and hot dogs at 6:00 with everyone before the dance. Then we danced the night away with great music and socializing from 6:30-11:15. After getting back to the boat, we all talked about the dance and how much fun it was and then went to bed.
