Location: Sandy Spit, Green Cay

Ping. Ping. Ping. I woke up to the sound of my hammock hitting a metal bar. I was jostled awake and then was forced to wake up the rest of the boat because I was the skipper of the day. We started the day off with some oatmeal, then quickly got underway for a sail to Brewer’s Bay. On the way, we probably encountered the biggest waves of the trip. West, Kade and I were on the trampoline at the front of the boat, as waves crashed over the bow. It was awesome, and we were laughing so hard. Once we arrived at our destination, we started snorkeling for lionfish and turtles. We were unsuccessful in finding any lionfish, but Beezie and Elliot, the captain of our sister boat, were able to catch a turtle that we tagged.
