Location: Vixen Point, Gorda Sound
Hello from Hope day 5! We woke up in Mountain Point, and it was another rotation day!! We get right up and have some cereal for breakfast, and have a fast clean up so we can get ready for the day. Maeve, Merin, and Ellie got picked up to go do on land stuff with a local school in Spanish town, where they painted structures, revamped the tortoise enclosure, where they also got to feed them, and they also built chicken coops. Jojussy did not, in fact, pack enough lunch, and they were STARVING. The rest of us got picked up and taken to Glad To Be Here for some zesting. After lots of turtling the boats, we get taken back to Hope for some diving!! It was our last confined water dive, which was super fun. We had sandwiches for lunch and got on our way to Vixin Point. We anchored and all had dive chats, and then we learned how to tie knots from Jojussy, Henry, and Chase. We then had a docking procedure chat. We had fun ocean showers and saw some jellyfish. While that was happening, Gmoney cooked really good broccoli cheddar pasta. We had a squeeze, and my question was, “What’s your biggest ick?” Jojussy very kindly wrapped my sting up. We are now cleaning up and listening to banger music per usual because our staff have the best music taste in all of ActionQuest. We are ending off the night with some dive chats and cinnamon muffins. We also did, in fact, find a cockroach in our boat. We are having our nightly dance party and getting a good night’s sleep for a long day tomorrow. Goodnight from Hope to all family and friends seeing this, we all love you and miss you very much!!
P.S. to Katie and Jeanette – Stella and Addie are not sunburnt and are really enjoying sailing together because they make good choices when in front of a steering wheel.
