Welcome to day 6 of this wonderful trip on the beautiful boat called Hope. We woke up this morning and were told we have another rotation day. Our first activity of the day was snorkeling. The wildlife in our snorkeling area was beautiful, but there were a ton of jellyfish, which Kiaan and I had to fend off. We then got back to the boat, where we had a midday dive check. We learned how to read RDP, which is a very important skill to learn for diving if you don’t have a dive watch. We then had a nice lunch. After lunch, we got to enjoy sailing the Zests, which are a type of very small sailboat. Charlie and Chase were in one boat, which Henri and I had tons of races with. Once we were done with the zests, we went back on the boat. We then docked at Leverick, where we went grocery shopping and picked up Merin Maeve and Elly, who were at a local school helping with tons of things. Merin Maeve and Elly spent most of their day building chick coops and painting all kinds of things. At around 5:40, we were back on the boat and finally got to use our phones. Reese Addie and Stella spent most of their time FaceTiming their friends and introducing them to us. Once our phone time was done, we went on a dinghy back to the dock and walked to our first BBQ. The food was the best food we have had on the trip. After we were done eating, we all moved to the dance floor and we had a lot of fun. The DJ had us participate in a lot of games for different prizes; sadly, no one on our boat won one. Once we were done partying, we went back to our boat, where we just talked and chilled. That was all on day 6, and I know everyone is excited to see what’s next to come.
