Location: Savanna Bay, Virgin Gorda
This morning we woke up at 7:30 to some amazing music. Thankfully, we got to sleep in a little after the barbecue. For breakfast, Liv and Maddie made us French toast. We started the day off all together, sailing from Leverick Bay to Necker Island. We did lots of sail training and picked up some trash on our way. It was super funny because Will and Luke had to get into the dinghy to get the barrel out of the ocean, and the waves were super big. Once we got to Necker Island, we snorkeled and had lunch there. The water was super clear, so we took lots of underwater photos with the GoPro. For lunch, we had deli sandwiches. Then we sailed to Savannah Bay. On the way there, we all worked on our sailing skills.
We were running a little late, so we arrived just in time for the boat Olympics. The first event was a tug-of-war. We sadly lost to Why Knot. Then we watched Aubrey compete in the fender ride. And then Liv, Toby, and I all competed in the soapy dinghy competition. Unfortunately, we did not win any events, but that’s okay because we won in our hearts lol. When we got back to the boat, we took ocean showers and then got ready for dinner. Siena made us chicken cece salad and risotto. Jake joined us for dinner, where we debated about condiments for like an hour and a half. After dinner, we had a dance party and then had forums. Aubrey and Siena made us key lime pie for dinner. That’s it, y’all cya later!
