Location: Mountain Point, Virgin Gorda
This morning we woke up around 6:30 and we started our motor from Savanna Bay back to Mt. Point. Then once we were anchored, we had a variety of cereals for breakfast. Then, at 8, Toby, Atlin, Cole, Aubrey, Jonah, and Lacey went Scuba diving in the open water for the first time! While they were diving, Maddie, Scarlet, Leah, Kate, and I chilled and hung out on the boat. Andddd the GoBeyond girls got to tag a turtle before lunch! At around noon, we all met up for lunch on Hope, a catamaran, because our boat was taken out for sailing. For lunch, we had Tuscan white bean soup with crackers on the side.
After lunch, the Vega kids practiced and took their open water exam for scuba with other Vega kids from Harbor House Out. After we finished, we made turkshead bracelets. The others went back to Why Knot and went snorkeling so they could hopefully find a turtle and tag it. Unfortunately, they did not find any, so they went back to the boat and took a little break. Then they went back out again, but they couldn’t find a turtle. They did see some cool sights, such as a stingray!!! At around 5, we all returned to our boat and took ocean showers. We ate Veggie Tikka Masala for dinner with a side of rice. After dinner was cleaned up, we had a dance party on the bow of the boat and made brownies, which were a little undercooked but still delicious. Vega had a sail chat while everyone else did a forum on the stern about the ripple effect of being kind. Once Vega was done, we played some charades downstairs, which was very entertaining. Then we all hung out like usual and went to bed!!! Miss everyone so much!
