Location: Lima
Welcome, GoBeyonders to Peru! Today was our first travel day. After Evan met everyone in the Miami airport one by one (Christian will be arriving later), we proceeded to wait at the gate for about 1.5 hours for our flight to Lima due to weather. Extra bonding time though! After arriving in Lima close to midnight and meeting Meca and Mariana, we quickly jumped into 2 small buses that took us to our hotel for the night. After checking into everyone’s rooms and a quick program briefing of the next day, we all went to sleep in preparation for an early morning wake up for our flight to Cusco! Evan (one of the staff members) will be staying behind a bit longer so he’ll have a bit of time to update the blog tomorrow as well. Time for bed! Buenas noches!
