This morning we started our day with a hike on Norman Island. At the beginning of the program, we did the same hike, and we wrote down our goals for the trip. On this hike, we picked up two rocks one “pretty rock” and one “ugly rock.” Once we reached the top of the hill, we sat down and took in the stunning views for a few minutes. Then we received the goals that we wrote down at the beginning of the trip, and we reflected on which goals we achieved and those we fell short on. With our goals in mind, we thought about what we wanted to “leave in the BVI” and what we wanted to bring home with us. Then we cast off our “ugly rocks” and whatever we wanted to leave in the BVI, and we took our “pretty rocks” with us, and whatever it was we learned here that we wanted to take home. Once we got back to the boat, we began our deep clean of the boat. We cleaned and cleaned but eventually with teamwork we finished!! We are heading to our fourth of July BBQ which I am pumped for! As much as I am excited to go home and enjoy some cold water, it’s really sad to think this is our last night. We have all formed new friendships and found paradise down here even with all the challenges we have had to face along the way. I’m going to miss everyone the BVI has my heart
