Today, we started the day off with a nutritious breakfast at Common Ground before we met up with our learning partners and spent time with them. I got to visit my partner’s home where we focused on English grammar for the day. After ending our service with our learning partners, we went back to Common Ground for another delicious lunch before heading to Men-Tsee-Khang to have a conversation with the college students once again. After 2 and 1/2 hours with the students, we bid farewell to them for the day. We then headed to Lha teach English where we had a conversational class with Tibetan adults. Since most of the group was tired, after that, we had a bit of free time before enjoying a wonderful folk show by Tibet World, where we learned a lot about the history of Tibet- we also learned a couple of traditional Tibetan dances before leaving. We then ended the day at a restaurant called Carpe Diem where we had dinner before heading back to the hotel to get a good night’s sleep.
