Location: Dharamsala
Knowing that today would be our last in Dharamsala, the group made the trek up to breakfast quietly and sadly. Afterward, we met with our learning partners and went to the same fantastic walk we went on the very first day. We finished up with some review of what had been learned and a delicious meal at Common Ground, before saying goodbye to our partners, many of whom were now good friends. As usual, we then proceeded to Men- Tzee- Khang, but this time we had a bit of a party and enjoyed musical performances from the students in Tibetan, Hindi, and English. Much to our surprise, the students expected us to perform for them as well, though some (including myself) managed to get out of it. Following some sad goodbyes and a conversation class at Tibet World, we were able to do any last shopping needed. To end the day, we ate at a tasty Italian restaurant and had an intense debate in a forum that night, before going to sleep, for the last time in Dharamsala.
