Location: Galapagos to Quito
After the groups first sleep-in we hopped on board our plane back to Quito. Those of us with window seats were able to watch as the Galapagos Islands we had come to love drifted away from us. The surprisingly on-time flight landed in the late afternoon in Quito. Then it was time for a late lunch and early dinner before some much-needed relaxation and a quick run to the grocery store, which resulted in the purchase of massive amounts of chocolate. Dinner involved a taste of home in Domino’s pizza. We followed with a quick game before packing and bed as we prepared for the Amazon!
