Location: Playa Espadrilla Sur
Today was a fantastic day. It began early as we had a four-hour bus ride ahead of us. Although none were particularly excited about the ride, it served to be an excellent opportunity to get to know each other better, and our counselors made certain that we had opportunities to stretch our legs. My favorite stop was a national park called Manuel Antonio. My friends and I trekked through the rain forest to spot monkeys play fighting and a sloth slowly making its way from one branch to the next. Then we found ourselves swimming through the pristine ocean waters of Costa Rica building human pyramids and taking adorable group photos. The day was ultimately filled with laughter and sunshine. Our friendship grew tremendously on this fourth day. (I love you mom, dad, Ian, Tadhg, Zane, Sheena and Bchdan).
