Location: Spanish Town
Hi!!! It’s Hayes, and today was great. The day started with a quick sail to The Baths around 6:30… I was still asleep, but once I woke up and joined everyone else, we all swam over. The Baths is a bunch of caves with a big rock you can jump off of, which was very exciting, and many made it through with no injuries, which is very impressive. After jumping got boring, we swam around in the water while fighting off fish (they were very scary). Once we got back on the boat we hung out for a bit and then headed for Spanish town where we got shore time with all of the groups. We all got lunch together at a yummy restaurant and then went to the ice cream shop, where I was convinced not to buy balloons. After that, some of us went to more shops and definitely spent way to much money. We all made friends from other boats, and we can’t wait to see them at the barbecue coming up soon. Addison, Grace, Violet, Gigi, and I befriended a younger boy named Holden who was walking around alone, while Augusta and Addy spent time with some of the boat members from Highlander, and Prentice finally found some guys to spend time with despite him being stuck on a boat with a bunch of girls. Once we got back to the boat around 2:30, we sailed about five feet away from the dock and anchored for the night. We all started swimming when jellyfish suddenly attacked us out of nowhere, making our ocean showers very difficult. Don’t worry; we formed a lookout team to keep everyone safe. Addy unfortunately sustained some stings, and she was a trooper. While Addison and Prentice made dinner the rest of us spent time up on deck reading and talking. After our delicious chili dinner, we began to finish up our jobs so we could get a good night’s rest for our big day tomorrow! -Goodnight from the fab boat Häagen-Dazs
