Helping a School

Location: Spanish Town, Virgin Gorda

Today, we planned to help out by painting a school on the island. At the start of the day, we took a dingy to the shore. After getting off, we went to help a local school. First, we scraped off excess paint from the sides to prepare it for painting again. Then we painted the entire school. Next, people had several options of what they could do, though it had to involve cleaning up the area. Finally, we helped some of the kids that went to the school learn to swim at the beach. Read more of our BVI blog to learn about our volunteer work abroad.
