Below is our anticipated schedule of activities. The group will have limited access to internet over the course of the program. While we understand families are eager for news, we ask for patience as our staff’s energy is focused on the students and the program at hand. Day 1 – June 25th – Fly day Day 2 – June 26th – Student arrival in Delhi; Student orientation Day 3 – June 27th – Student orientation (cont.); Delhi exploration including Connaught Place, central Delhi, and Gandhi museum Day 4 – June 28th – Flight Delhi to Dharamsala; Check-in at monastery accommodation; Dharamsala city tour and intro to service projects Day 5 to 12 – June 29th to July 6th – Dharamsala service-learning program; Various afternoon/evening activities including film viewings, educational talks, scavenger hunts, momo and chai making, etc. Day 13 – July 7th – Tong-Len visit & service work Day 14 to 16 – July 8th to 10th – Dharamsala service-learning program (cont.) Day 17 – July 11th – Visit traditional Tibetan arts vocational workshops in Norbulingka; Tour of Dolma Ling Nunnery Day 18 – July 12th – Transfer to Amritsar; Golden Temple tour Day 19 – July 13th – Transfer to Delhi; Delhi shopping Day 20 – July 14th – Taj Mahal day! Day 21 – July 15th – Delhi exploration/touring; Student fly day
